What you need to know

Tickets for Troops is available to all Serving Personnel – both Regulars and Reservists - war widows and veterans medically discharged from the forces after 2001.

Tickets for Troops allows you to create positive memories at cultural, sporting and music events with your loved ones.

You can get up to free tickets for a wide range of:

  • sporting events, such as rugby, football and cricket matches, tennis tournaments and horseracing meetings
  • theatre productions
  • comedy shows
  • music festivals and events
  • family events

You can attend a maximum of 10 events per calendar year and take up to 3 other people with you to each event. But you must always be in attendance at the event and can’t pass tickets on to other people to use without you.

You may also enter ballots for ‘A Class Events’ such as Premier League Football matches, award ceremonies and music festivals.

What you need to do

To claim you will need to:

  1. register - sign up for Tickets for Troops at ticketsfortroops.org.uk/register using your Service number. You may be asked to contact the team to provide further proof of your eligibility
  2. find an event - once registered, you can then log-in and find an event you want to go to by using the 'search' and 'ticket finder' functions
  3. book tickets - once you’ve found an event, you can order your tickets by selecting ‘Book Tickets’ next to the event you have chosen. You will be asked to pay a £4.50 booking fee, which goes towards covering the cost of running TFT. Occasionally our ticket partners may charge an extra nominal admin fee but this will be stated clearly on the booking page before you order your tickets
