This discount will enable you to get 30% off a subscription to the Home Use programme of Office 365 and up to 10% off the cost of a Surface device or accessory.
Any Service Person is eligible, providing you have a work email address, which can be either @mod.uk or @mod.gov.uk.
The 365 Family edition can be used by up to 6 people in your family and costs £55.99 a year, whilst the 365 Personal edition costs £41.99. With that each person gets the premium Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint apps, 1TB of cloud storage, file sharing and advanced security for all your devices. The discount last for as long as the subscription is renewed and does not expire if you leave the Armed Forces.
You can also get up to 10% off Microsoft Surface devices and accessories, such as laptops, tablets, headphones and mice.
What you need to do
To claim you will need to:
- sign up - copy this link Microsoft Home Use Programme: Check Your Eligibility – Microsoft Store into Chrome, enter your work email address and click the 'get started' button
- send link in verification email to your personal email account - you will then receive an activation email from Microsoft, confirming that, as a member of the Armed Forces, you’re eligible for the Microsoft Home Use Programme. Send the link in the email to your personal email account
- sign in - click on the link from your personal device, sign in and start saving
