What you need to know
You may be able to claim 25% discount on your council tax bill if you live alone or live with one of the following:
- dependent children
- non-dependents under the age of 18 years
- persons in receipt of Income Support
- full-time students
- student nurses on pre-registration course
- apprentices
- severely mentally impaired persons
- carers for liable person(s) or spouse
It is important that you have read and understood JSP 464 Tri-Service Accommodation Regulations (volume 3, part 1 chapter 4) before proceeding.
What you need to do
Complete the JPA E003 Claim for 25% single householder discount operational council tax relief form and submit to your Unit HR Admin for processing.
