What you need to know

It is important that you have read and understood the following JSPs before proceeding:

  • JSP 854 Armed Forces Pension Scheme 1975
  • JSP 764 The Armed Forces Pension Scheme 2005 (AFPS 05)
  • JSP 905 Armed Forces Pension Scheme 2015 and Early Departure Payments Scheme 2015

You may want to increase your Armed Forces Pension Scheme (AFPS) by purchasing additional years or days.

Added years can be bought as whole or part years by making a regular contribution. Contributions are limited to 15% of pensionable earnings.

What you need to do

To do this please complete the AVCs added years authorisation and disclaimer by member (AFPS 75) (Form 5) and return by post.
